Comfortable stay in SP GRAND DAYS TRIVANDRUM, In all aspects good for family stay as well as official stay.

Overall the staff are cheerful, warm and service was good except the service in the bar.
I liked the location of the hotel. Breakfast spread was reasonable. Kebab festival was going on during our stay. Tried out few kebabs and they were good. Overall service was good except the service in the bar.
At the bar on the 3rd floor, there was no greeting or smile on the face of the staff there. Felt like we were not welcome there..... Had ordered couple of drinks with my friend at the bar. The waiter kept the drinks, soda and water on the table as if he was doing some favour to us. He didn't even bother to open the water / soda bottles or offered to make the drink. We had 3 drinks and not a single time he came and enquired if we need anything. EACH TIME WE HAD TO CALL HIM. The lighting is so poor in the bar, couldn't even see the menu properly. However, on the previous day the service ( including drinks ) at the roof top restaurant was good.

As a transwoman who had to check in as a man due to business constraints, I was a little anxious at first. But the moment I expressed my identity and asked if I could step out as myself, there was not even a second of hesitation—only respect and warmth.
Coming from states where transphobia is still a daily reality, the kindness, acceptance, and genuine hospitality I experienced here in Kerala felt overwhelming in the most beautiful way. This place made me feel seen, safe, and human.
Kerala truly stands out as a haven of dignity and inclusivity. For trans people like me, this isn’t just a destination—it’s a reminder of how the world should be. Thank you for creating such a safe and welcoming space. 🌈✨

"The complimentary it was outstanding "
Booked this hotel at the last minute and stayed for two nights. The complimentary breakfast buffet was outstanding, with live counters for tea, omelettes, and more. The breakfast alone makes this hotel highly recommendable. The location is another plus, as it is conveniently close to major attractions. The room and restroom were clean and well maintained, with a bathtub and 24??7 hot water availability. The room was equipped with a refrigerator, and additional items such as chocolates, snacks, soda, and beer were provided with a clearly displayed price menu, avoiding any confusion about whether these are complimentary or chargeable items. There were no surprise charges during checkout, which I really appreciated. The hotel has a swimming pool located on the 4th floor. We couldn’t make use of it due to our busy schedule, and the staff mentioned that the pool may not be accessible during times when functions are hosted. Valet parking is available, and despite arriving very late around 2 AM, the check-in process was smooth. Staff were readily available to assist with parking and check-in, without any delays or inconvenience.

SP Grand Days is an excellent hotel with a prime location. The bar is available, the parking facilities are good, and the rooftop restaurant is impressive.

“An excellent place for sol and family travellers to Thiruvananthapuram ”
Excellent location , just about 2 km from the Central Bus Station and Railway station. Very good facilities and exceptionally courteous staff. The location is also very close to important landmarks in the city so travel is not an issue. Overall a very good proposition for staying while visiting Thiruvananthapuram
